Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (the “Terms”) form a binding agreement between you and cyclosport (“cyclosport”, “we”, “us”) and govern your access to and use of the cyclosport website, applications and services (together, the “Service”). By creating an account, connecting a device, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country) to use the Service. By using it, you represent that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate and kept up to date.

You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us promptly of any unauthorised use. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe pose a security or legal risk.

cyclosport imports your workout data — from uploaded files or connected third-party accounts — and provides analytics, metrics, visualisations, AI-generated commentary and training plans for endurance sports (swimming, cycling, running and related activities). Features, limits and availability may change over time, and some features are offered only on paid plans.

The Service can connect to third-party platforms and devices (for example Garmin) at your request to import your activity data and, where supported, send workouts to your device. You authorise us to access and process that data on your behalf. Your use of any third-party service remains subject to that provider’s own terms and privacy policy, and we are not responsible for third-party services, their availability, or changes they make to their APIs. You may disconnect a connected account at any time from your profile.

Some features generate analysis, recommendations and training plans using automated and AI systems. This output is produced from your data and general training principles. It may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for your circumstances, and it is provided for informational purposes only. Always apply your own judgement and do not rely on it as professional advice.

cyclosport is a fitness analytics tool, not a medical device or a healthcare, medical or professional coaching service. Nothing in the Service constitutes medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Endurance training carries inherent risks. Consult a qualified physician before starting or changing any training programme, and stop and seek medical attention if you experience pain, dizziness, or other warning signs. You use the Service and follow any plan or recommendation at your own risk.

The Service offers a free tier and paid subscription plans. Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis through our payment provider, which acts as merchant of record and handles payment, invoicing and applicable taxes. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time through the customer portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and you retain access until then. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. We may change plan pricing or features on reasonable notice.

You agree not to:

• use the Service in violation of any law or third-party rights;
• upload data you do not have the right to use, or another person’s data without authorisation;
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to, disrupt, or overload the Service or its infrastructure;
• reverse engineer, scrape, or resell the Service except as permitted by law;
• misuse automated access, share credentials, or circumvent plan limits or security measures.

You retain ownership of the workout and personal data you provide. You grant us a limited licence to host, process and analyse that data solely to operate and improve the Service and to provide the features you use. We handle personal data as described in our privacy practices; if you have questions about your data, contact us at hi@cyclosport.app. You may delete your data or close your account, after which we will remove or anonymise your data except where retention is required by law.

The Service, including its software, design, text and branding, is owned by cyclosport and protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service for your own non-commercial use in accordance with these Terms. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may modify, suspend or discontinue any part of the Service, and some features may be offered as beta or experimental and provided “as is”.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of metrics or analysis, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will meet your requirements or that data, calculations or recommendations will be accurate or reliable.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, cyclosport will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or for any personal injury or health consequence arising from your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or USD 50. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

You agree to indemnify and hold cyclosport harmless from any claims, damages and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or to protect the Service or other users. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability and indemnification) will survive.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
